Welcome to the CommuniTree Project Site
The CommuniTree Committee formed to improve the Tree Canopy in Carleton Tract and Hollywood Park. The primary methods for achieving this goal are planting new trees, removing sick and dead trees, and developing a culture of stewardship within the neighborhood.
On November 10, 2018, the Committee plans to plant at least thirty new trees. Before that, we hosted regular workshops to help teach the community about the benefits of trees as well as the best methods to care for them. In 2019, the Committee aims so continue hosting workshops and events to benefit the neighborhood.
We welcome neighbors who are interested in helping steer the direction of the partnership.

Discover the magic of mulching, slow-watering strategies, and more. The wet weather last winter was certainly welcome, but these water wise methods for tree care remain useful for our hot and dry summer climate.

Grab your helmet, get on your bike and join the Hollywood Park Neighborhood Association and the Sacramento Tree Foundation for a leisurely ride around our neighborhood to view the beautiful and historic trees that line our streets! Then meet back at Two Rivers Cider Company for Live Music and a Food Truck. Sutterville Bicycle Company will be providing free Bike Safety Inspections at their nearby shop located at 2365 Sutterville Bypass.

2:30 on Live Music, Food Truck and a RAFFLE – 4311 Attawa Ave #300
Please note: We may encounter hazards such as moving vehicles, green waste or cracks in the Asphalt. Ensure your bike is safe to ride and that you are healthy enough to come along. Neighbors under 18 are required by law to wear a helmet for this and all bicycle rides.
